Lo \u00e8 ancora di pi\u00f9 per chi come noi si stesse chiedendo che cosa il reparto M division della casa Bavarese abbia sviluppato per i futuri modelli di M che monteranno l&#8217;evoluzione dell&#8217;S55, motore che su M3\/M4 ed M2 CP \u00e8 ormai giunto all&#8217;apice dello sviluppo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stiamo parlando del nuovo S58\u00a0dotato della nuova elettronica BOSCH MG1<\/strong>, ovvero un propulsore sviluppato sulla base del B58, di cui abbiamo gi\u00e0 presentato vari step di elaborazione.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Il nostro sviluppo \u00e8 partito da una nuova X4 G02 M Competition con 510cv e 600Nm come dati dichiarati dal costruttore.<\/strong> La vettura monta uno scarico centrale libero\u00a0con i catalizzatori primari di serie.<\/p>\n<p>Fin dai primi test \u00e8 stato evidente che il valore sulla scheda tecnica BMW \u00e8 decisamente sottostimato, infatti <strong>il banco prova ha rilevato ben 555cv e 620Nm* in configurazione stock.<\/strong> Su questo valore ha sicuramente influito la modifica allo scarico centrale e l&#8217;utilizzo di benzina a 100 ottani<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>ma certamente anche con lo scarico di serie non mancano i cavalli.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La curva di erogazione \u00e8 caratterizzata da un ingresso in coppia poderoso a circa 2.900 giri\/min<\/strong>, sotto questo regime la coppia resta al di sotto dei 400Nm. Durante la messa a punto \u00e8 emerso che questa \u00e8 una fasatura voluta da BMW probabilmente per limitare le emissioni di CO2 e rientrare nelle normative previste.<\/p>\n<p>Con la nostra modifica l&#8217;erogazione della coppia resta molto simile a quella di serie ma con <strong>oltre 100Nm in pi\u00f9, si raggiungono infatti 719Nm* come picco massimo.<\/strong> La parte migliore della modifica si nota per\u00f2 nella curva di potenza agli alti regimi, dove <strong>siamo riusciti ad ottenere 600 cavalli* costanti per oltre 1.000 giri\/min<\/strong> senza nessuna flessione fino al limitatore di giri.<\/p>\n<p>Durante lo sviluppo abbiamo visto anche valori molto pi\u00f9 elevati rispetto ai 600cv con cui abbiamo consegnato l&#8217;auto, ma per uno stage1 abbiamo preferito optare per una messa a punto meno estrema. La decisione sul valore di potenza con cui consegnare l&#8217;auto \u00e8 stata presa durante i\u00a0<b>test di stress termico\u00a0<\/b>con una calibrazione molto spinta. Monitorando il sensore battito in testa\u00a0<b>il nostro team di sviluppo ha lavorato per trovare una calibrazione che non causasse problemi di knocking\u00a0<\/b>(mancata accensione).<\/p>\n<p><b>Un&#8217;altra caratteristica interessante di questo propulsore legata alla carburazione.<\/b>Il motore finch\u00e9 lavora in condizioni di temperatura relativamente basse mantiene un rapporto aria benzina estremamente &#8220;magro&#8221; per migliorare il consumo di carburante. Quando si forza l&#8217;andatura e salgono le temperature la centralina arricchisce automaticamente la carburazione per preservare la meccanica. \u00a0nel test 100-200 km\/h questa X4 M \u00e8 quasi un secondo piano veloce di una Lamborghini Urus nello stesso test (dichiarata 9,2&#8243; nel test 100-200 km\/h).<\/p>\n<p>Ricordiamo infine per chi fosse preoccupato per il fattore garanzia che anche su questo modello \u00e8 possibile\u00a0<strong>inibire l\u2019algoritmo che modifica il CVN (Calibration Verification Number) della vettura.
